Counting Sheep

First there was one lamb…….. then there was a whole field of sheep wondering if there was something interesting in my bag but sadly not, just a flask of coffee and a twix oh and an apple of course. One of those sheep had no ears so not sure what that’s all about. We set off in the sun and were half way round when the snow showers started. The photo of me is taken on the top of Eccles Pike and the photo of Cracken Edge bottom right was the weather infront of me coming in our direction!

Of course no walk would be complete without something happening and today we had a dog poo bag thrown in our direction – how bloody discusting is that? We then a chat with some guys visiting the area who also witnessed the dog poo bag incident – our conclusion was the woman was surely going to pick it up on her way back………..I’m tempted to drive back up to Eccles Pike later to check.

Beautiful walk on a poignant day 20.4.16

A beautiful walk around Stanage Edge with Jen today, we only walked 6 miles but the scenery was breathtaking.

Today I reached the same age as Martin as he passed away 10 days short of his 47th birthday. I’m just so grateful that I’m able to enjoy our beautiful countryside and share some photos along the way, especially those cute lambs.
